Brøndby won 2-0 against Mladá Boleslav at the Estadio do Algarve on Saturday night. Dario Dumic and Johan Elmander scored the goals.

Brøndby IF – FK Mladá Boleslav was the second match of The Atlantic Cup 2015 and it didn't quite match the intensity of Dynamo Moscow and FC Copenhagen's encounter the night before. The Czech outfit didn't have their best game, but they managed to withhold Brøndby from scoring in the first half.

The most dramatic moment came after 31 minutes when young South African Lebogang Phiri caught his Czech opponent with his studs and was forced to be substituted by the referee.

It was the Danish side that took the lead in the second half after a well worked set piece. Daniel Agger connected with the ball at the far post and his young partner in Brøndby's defence Dario Dumic was there to tap it in.

Only minutes after the Danes doubled their lead. Johan Elmander took advantage of some sloppy defending and raced towards the keeper before he calmly slotted the ball in the net.

2-0 was the score and Brøndby got off to a good start in The Atlantic Cup.
