Lukas Masopust finish from close range after 8 minutes took a deflection and left Vålerengas goalkeeper stranded. The team from Prague had a few other great chances in the first half. Vålerengas Bård Finne, who came on for Deyver Vega who was injured after just 11 minutes, had two great posibilities to equalise for the team from Oslo. But in the final minute Vålerenga got their goal from a penalty that Mathias Vilhjamsson safely put at back of the net.
After the break late goals from Jaroslaw Zeleny and Lukas Provod gave Slavia Praha a 3-1 victory.
