IFK Göteborg saw off FK Jablonec in the two team's first game at The Atlantic Cup 2015. Lasse Vibe scored twice in the 3-1 victory.

IFK Göteborg and FK Jablonec took place in perfect conditions with the pitch looking lush and green and the sun shining from the blue skies.

It was the Czech outfit that was the most aggressive in the beginning seeing Nermin Crnkic heading a ball past the post after a mere couple of minutes.

It was how ever Jablonec that first conceded a goal. After nine minutes of play a corner resulted in a great chance for the blue and white. Vlastimil Hrubý blocked the shot brilliantly but could only watch on as Lasse Vibe pounced and smashed the ball in the empty net.

Just two minutes after the score became 2-0 when Lasse Vibe combined well to create a chance. Just as it looked like Jablonec cleared the danger Mikael Boman appearet and found the net with a well placed shot.

It could have been three in five minutes as Lasse Vibe was alone with keeper Hrubý minutes after but his cheeky attempt to chip the keeper failed.

Jablonec thought they had scored 10 minutes before the break. First they hit the post and the rebound was stuck in the net. Unfortunately for them the linesman waved for offside.

Instead it became 3-0 when IFK Göteborg went up the other end and Lasse Vibe stuck in another. The hot striker wanted by Reading is really showing himself off here at The Atlantic Cup, but was substituted during halftime. Perhaps it was his last appearance for the Swedish side.

In the second half Jablonec pulled one back after the young striker Jan Kopic managed to find the net That was the last goal of the game and IFK Göteborg therefor enjoyed a perfect start to their journey in The Atlantic Cup 2015.
